选择一个项目或论文

在完成M之前.Ed. 学位, you must demonstrate mastery of the subject matter and the ability to generate new knowledge or apply existing knowledge to specific practical situations. This demonstration may be a research 项目 or 论文, planned with and directed by a faculty supervisor.

  • 693项目 involves curriculum or program development and applies theory to practice. A 项目 creates a product that you often use in a professional capacity.
  • 695论文 is a traditional research capstone where you gather and analyze data, then present the results with your interpretations. A 论文 uses data analysis to answer a research question or test a hypo论文 that interests you.

NOTE: 的 asterisk (*) next to ED* 693 and ED* 695 indicates you must register for the Education course specific to your academic program. If you are uncertain about which capstone course/section to select, please talk with your program advisor before applying.

主管评估表

博天堂官方的 LIFT (Laker Impressions of Faculty Teaching) is a university-wide, online system for collecting student feedback about courses and instructors.

截至2016年冬季, all course sections (with limited exceptions) use the online LIFT surveys to collect student feedback on supervisors/faculty. Students should receive an email invitation (from "LIFT via IASystem") as soon as the LIFT survey for your course opens. 的 email will contain the link to the survey, which you can complete on a phone, tablet or computer. You will need to log in using your GVSU ID and password to access the survey. This prevents people from submitting feedback about courses they're not in, but information about your identity is not kept with your response data, and no one at GVSU can identify which responses were sent by which student.
